Prepare yourself for the ultimate fantasy fighting experience as the latest Mortal Kombat game is out. Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Mortal Kombat X is a single-player/multiplayer fighting game for the Xbox One console. This game runs on a modified version of the Unreal Engine 3. There is no ESRB/PEGI rating for this game yet. Mortal Kombat X features a fresh, authentic and non-linear storyline. The plot of this game ensues from where the previous installment left off, hence, a lot of focus is on veteran warriors and the next-generation of fighters. The following are four new fighters who have been introduced to the Mortal Kombat franchise: Cassie Cage, the daughter of Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage; D’Vorah, a female who commands insects; Kotal Khan, a blood god, and Ferra/Torr, a duo comprising of a massive masked brute and a dwarf-woman. There are three different variants for each character in this game; each variant wields a distinct skill set.
Similar to previous games in this series, Mortal Kombat X’s gameplay sees two players fighting each other to the death with an array of special moves, attacks and brutal Fatalities. First implemented in the previous title of this game series, the energy meter allows players to execute X-Ray moves; some adjustments have been made to this system. As in Injustice: Gods Among Us, players will now be able to interact with their environment much more - players can use objects in their surroundings and will reposition themselves when they bounce off certain areas.

Mortal Kombat X is a single-player/multiplayer action fighting game in which you can decide to ensue high-octane action as one of the skilled fighters from the Mortal Kombat universe, such as Johnny Cage, Reptile or Sub-Zero.
Mortal Kombat X's gameplay sees two players fighting each other to the death with an array of special moves, attacks and brutal "Fatalities" through the course of 2 to 3 rounds. Awesome, pictorially striking X-ray moves can be executed when the energy meter has enough power. Environmental interaction has been improved too!
Mortal Kombat X received a PEGI rating of 18 for depictions of blood and violence.
This game is distributed in the optical disc format. This disc is meant for the Xbox One console.
