Excellent phone - loved it the first time I saw it and ordered it right-away from Flipkart!
Found out that the Alt key on the right side doesn't unfortunately work - Flipkart was kind enough to arrange for a reverse pick-up and replacement. The replacement piece also had the same defect :(.
I think this is something that Motorola, which is currently looking at rebuilding its brand, needs to very seriously look into, as one can find references to this defect all over the web already!!!
So, am getting a refund from Flipkart - would've loved to keep this phone, but only if it was fully functional. Please go ahead and order this phone if you are willing to manage with just one of the Alt keys working..Thanks for reading!

Design wise Motorola Fire seems very sleek and not too wider compared to other qwerty models in the market , new sleek design makes it very easy to handle it your palms. Motorola Fire features a new user interface from Motorola called “Moto Switch” which makes every thing faster and improved UI with 5 Home screens, widgets and social network ,email, message notifications.
The Motorola Fire has a 2.8 QVGA touchscreen display obviously 2.8 QVGA is not good for web browsing but we suggest opera mini for low resolution phones for better browsing experience ,3 megapixel, fixed focus camera with no flash ,quality is not bad but good for mailing and social sharing.
Motorola Fire features one of the best QWERTY keypad in budget qwerty models , recommended for heavy tweeters and texters.
I just bought this phone. great value for money. What u r getting is
latest android version
amazing UI
Good capacitive touch screen
Great multi touch
comfortable querty
decent screen size and Portrait UI form for best android experience
The camera is not that great but clicks decent pics in bright light. ALso the back panel could have been more sturdy. I have just started using it so trying to understand features but overall good value for money.
Pros:
1.Battery Backup is too good. It easily last for 2 days even if you browse, listen music and do calling and messaging. Battery also charges too fast within 2 hrs from 0% to 100%.
2. QWERTY keyboard is too good and predictive Input is also enabled so one need to type just 4 letters of long word such as "impression".
3. Good Sound quality. Earphone disappoints a little. But if you buy sony earphone, it will give you one of the best sound quality for same song. You get to hear each and every beats.
4. Professional/decent look and easy to maintain and keep in pocket.
5. Those who love to chat on facebook and Gtalk. This is best for them. You won't feel like you need a laptop for instant messaging.
6. You can customize the five GUI with available wizards as per your need.
7. Good navigation around all Moto-GUI and applications.
8. GPS-navigation works very well. You can see yourself moving in a map while you're traveling by any bus/car.
9. Very well integrated with Google services and Facebook.
10. Budget android smart-phone.
11. GOOD Replacement for those who want to switch from blackberry to android.
Cons :
1. Camera lacks auto focus, smile detection and LED flash.
2. It's hard to find screen-guard for it.
3. Game lovers please don't buy this. It's hard to install famous games like Angry-birds, NFS.
I was very happy to find a touch phone with a qwerty keypad that wasn't too bulky (like my previous Motorola Droid), however I...
