But, I am totally unsatisfied with their after sell services.
One day battery had gone out of service(within the warranty period, just at the end of 5th month from the date of purchase). I have been hunting for othe battery replacemen…

Milestone XT 800 Awesome !!!!

Read a lot of reviews and many times and also a lot of inter personal enquiries.
Frankly other than Flipkart reviews i did not get such good responses from near ones. But still i relied on Flipkart and and trust me the handset is more than handful and that too less than 9k. This a real good dual…

Motorola XT800W GLAM is a 5* product

I have posted this review after using it for 3 weeks.

Shopping with FLIPKART, has been a satisfying experience every time, right from the 1st instance and this time was no different. With clockwork efficiency, FLIPKART processed and shipped the ordered product on the same day and delivered…

Does the job well!

You will read reviews here of people saying go for Defy instead.
Last time I checked, Defy was not CDMA GSM Dual SIM.

Yes, it is Android 2.1, and I wish it was a higher version. Battery life is okay, need to charge once a day if using the screen a lot during the day to check mails, etc.

But this is the only good smartphone on the market that is both CDMA and GSM dual SIM. If you need such a phone, this is the best option you have. For me it does what it says on the tin, and that's really good enough.

Good Phone

Cons first:
Low Battery life (I need to charge it in the evening again when usage is high and using data services).
Poor system config:low processor/ram/internal memory as to what a smartphone really needs. (on rare occasions it hangs, unable to open moderate sized excel sheets from email, says not enough memory)
Android 2.1 and Motorola's pathetic upgrade service. No upgrade expected for this phone.
Speaker phone sound is very low.
In spite of the 5MP rated camera, I was not so impressed with image quality. 720p Video recording is good when there is enough light.

Pretty good phone (Update - Phone Dead)

I had used a Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos I589 phone for a couple of months till i lost it a few days back. Then i decided to get this phone as the price had come down by a few thousand rupees as compared to earlier.

I use it on the CDMA network for only making calls so compared to the Galaxy Ace Duos here are my observations:

1. This phone even though it has an older version of Android is faster than the Samsung.

2. The build quality is a lot better and it feels better to hold.

3. The screen clarity and voice clarity is very good and slightly better than the Samsung.

the paisa wasuul phone

actually I was looking for CDMA gsm phone and the choice r very rare htc desire vc around 20 k Samsungmb galaxy y cdma around 9k but very poor display and galaxy ace duos is also not very good. .
so I read about xt-800 with android 2.1 not upgradable but skype.,whats app, viber, talking tom and talking ginger, angry birds, fruitninja, and most of the famous apps and games runs very well in 2.1 android. other plus points r given below
@3.7 inch great display with nice contrast ratio

Feel the difference

One of the best CDMA phone i have ever used. Also the first Android phone i have used.

What to say about Flipkart's delivery and price ???? They are the best.

Would recommend for all the CDMA users. Please try this one . you would love it.

Additional bonus is Dual Sim factor.

Good phone - Motorola XT800

I bought this Motorola XT800 4 months back. I am using CDMA and GSM sim cards in this set.
As of now I found this piece too good and very fast in using the tools and apps.
Internet is very fast and I am able to use the Corp Mail without any problem. This is realy worth phone for the people who want to use CDMA and GSM facility in one instrument.

Best Dual sim, Boon for cdma users, simply superbbbb...

For a long long time I have been browsing the net to get a suitable dual cdma+gsm. Upon seeing the reviews of low ram, low speed processor I was little hesitant to place the order. Upon receiving within 48 hrs from Flipkart, I am really overjoyed to work with this cute mobile. Touch screen is hyper sensitive, the image of the finger tip is enough to operate this beauty. Speed is quite ok for normal opns.

Battery is 1390 mah, not really adequate for a dual sim but comes for 2 days. But charging is really fast. Instrument is an Engg Marvel. Camera is fantastic, even in low lights. Card r

if cdma + gsm is a must then go for it!

1> Internet on both sims unlike the other similar dual sim phone by samsung
2> Great sound quality. Which means it has a great earphone.Let me remind you all, that a great music player is not the only requirement for great music.
1>over priced when I bought it. Now its 13k,so its a bit justified.
2>Using radio and/or internet will eat up the battery pretty quickly

Motorola still stuck with 2.1

This model probably came out after 2.2 was already out. I would not buy this mobile for even half the price (look at the pathetic configuration).
Motorola has a pathetic support for upgrades. They launched XT720 and declared officially that they will not be providing any upgrade. I guess same would be the fate of this model.
In general refrain from buying any phones from Motorola which they target for Asian market explicitly.
