Just awesome
the performance is just awesome. It was reviewed to be a competitor for the gtx 780 but it performs better than than gtx 780ti in some platforms. nvidia never launched 2gb variant of the 970. Flipkart needs to update the info.
The gtx 970 is also called the gamers sweet spot and yes it is the performance is mind blowing compared to its price

Is it still the best for 1080p gaming? In August2015? Pretty much!
Since the costs of R9 280X, 290X have not dropped, and 390X, 390 are way more costly this is still the best one for some decent gaming.
Beware of the size and power connectors! A 500+ W PSU with 6+8 connectors free is required for this one. This will not fit in miniATX in a mid cabinet! You'll need to use your bottom PCIE slot (available on regular ATX) so that the HDD case doesn't obstruct it.
Also after the initial setup, if...

the best graphics card from nvidia
seriously one of the best gpu out there in the market . great delivery from flipkart as all ways, this is the best gtx 970 model in the market . comes with 1114Mhz base clock and 1279Mhz boost clock (in real time, its actually 1316Mhz). after overclocking ( core clock +84Mhz and memory clock +205Mhz) , i am getting around 3% better performance than gtx 780 ti. temperature does not exceeds 61*c at full load.

MSI GTX 970 4G is a beast!
Got this card recently. Great product! Runs every game @ ultra with 60+ fps. Plus it is very cool. 65-69 degrees during heavy gaming(GTA V, FC4, AC Unity, Watch Dogs and The WItcher 3).
PS: Don't buy this from flipkart. It's scamming you! Card retails for around 28-29k at the shop I bought it from in Andheri, Mumbai. No way its 39k!

Incorrect info on the card needs to be fixed
I have not bought this card but the specs mentioned may be wrong. As per the reviews and websites, the card has 4GB RAM and NOT 2 GB. People from flipkart - might want to revise the specs on this product. giving it 5/5 as per the reviews on this card. The card has mind blowing temps while gaming.

GTX 970 has a 3.5 + .5 GB Vram, which cannot be accessed at the same time
First of all I was planing to purchase. Then the price kept rising. Now comes the 100 ME edition. But I kept wondering what's all the buzz about and since India is known for dumping faulty tech, is there something wrong ????!!!
To my wonder here it is -
1. a gtx 970 was to run 4gb of its memory at 224mb/s, instead its having 3.5 gb running at 192mb/s and .5gb is running at 28mb/s
2. a full disguise to every consumer has been made by nvidia as for knowingly holding back orignal specs and us...

Wrong specifications and wrong images
I wanted to buy this card from flipkart but it seems like they don't know what are the specification of the product they are selling a lot of mistakes and less information is provided comparision to other online sellers and there are two diff images of gtx970 i looked closely there is a difference between i/o ports on both of the images...and one more thing i think price is a bit high to other online sellers...
