Muhurtha (electional Astrology)

There have been many books in recent years on astrology but most of them deal with predictive astrology proper. Muhurtha or Electional Astrology, whilst no doubt an important adjunct to horoscopy, has got its own distinct place in the general scheme of astrological literature. There is perhaps no human activity in the modern times that does not seek the aid of Muhurtha. The justification of this book is therefore that it tries to show that astrology encourages human effort by asking a man to do the right thing at the right moment. The aim of the book is to present  to the reader in a concise form all the essential principles of Muhurtha, so that he could make use of them in all walks of life.
