About Author :
Educated at the Benaras Hindu University Dr. N. Sharda Iyer is the Vice-Principal and Head of the Department of English at Vasanta College for Women, Krishnamurti Foundation India, Rajghat Fort, Varansi. Her area of interest includes Indian, British, American and Indian English Literature. Apart from the present volume on Indian English Drama, which is a sequal to Musings on Indian Writing in English, Vol.-I. (Fiction) and Vol.-II )Poetry) her forthcoming books are Doris Lessings; A writer with a Different (in Press), V.S. Naipaul: A Study, English Romantic Poets and Musings on Indian Writing in English Vol. IV (Prose). Her research papers have been published in Anthologies, journals magazines and articles in newspapers.
