My Boyhood

John Burroughs, the American naturalist, was best known for his essays on nature. This book contains some sketches of his boyhood and early farm life. He had an intense love of his birthplace and cherished every memory of his boyhood and of his family and of the old farm high up on the side of Old Clump. When his son, Julian, tried to write about John, John took the matter into his own hand. Also found in this book are the writings of Julian on his father. Illustrated.
