‘My Decade in the Premier League’ is Wayne’s first hand account of his 10 years playing at the highest level in English football – and for the biggest club in the world. This is his inside story of life on the pitch for Manchester Utd; the League titles, FA Cups, League Cups and Champions League adventures. A must for any Utd fan.
Wayne Rooney is widely regarded as one of the leading football players of his generation. A talisman for Manchester United, since his transfer to them in 2004, Rooney is their star player and the first name on the team sheet. In the 10 years since he made his debut as a 16 year old for Everton, he has acquired trophy after trophy, accolade after accolade and headline after headline.
‘My Decade in the Premier League’ is the inside account of life as a Premier League footballer from the man every one wants to hear from. This is his story, in his words. From gracing the ground at Goodison as an excitable 16 year old to lifting the Champions League trophy with Manchester United. From the emotional high of scoring the winner against Manchester City with that overhead bicycle kick to the crushing low of the thrashing City handed out at Old Trafford in the 2011-12 season. This is a book for the fan who would kill to get just 30 seconds on the pitch at The Theatre of Dreams – to run on the famous turf and score in front of the Stretford End. ‘My Decade in the Premier League’ gives a real insight in to what goes in to being part of the biggest club in the world; the training pitch, the dressing room, the manager, the coaches and, most importantly, the buzz of crossing that white line and hearing the 76,000 strong crowd chant your name.
In intricate, emotional detail Wayne talks about every season he has spent in the Premier League and how it feels to be one the most celebrated footballers on the planet.

This book is just awesome....I had read Wayne Rooney's first autobiography 'My Story So Far',and to be honest i didn't find that book that much interesting as I did this book.
This book is really very well written,as Wayne shares his experiences with us of his premier league years.
He tells us about the influence of Sir Alex Fergusson, overall atmosphere of the dressing room prior and post matches, his personal experiences with United players like Gary Neville,Van nistelrooy, his first game against Everton at Goodison park since joining United, training sessions at Carrington, and list goes on and on.....
i really recommend this book to take an insight of wayne's private and day to day life.....
Ireally could feel like putting it down.....really loved the way this book is designed and written..!!!!!
I have been supporting Manchester United for the past 15 years, and follow almost all the players. Rooney is among my favourite players, but this book left a lot to be desired.
First of all, an autobiography released when you are 26-27 does not really reflect your life fully. Also, Wayne has tried to steer clear of all controversies and has revealed little about various incidents including his controversial decision to quit United in 2010. All he mentions is that his head was not in the right place and he was sorry.
As a reader, you would expect such books to give you a deeper insight into what goes on at United and inside Wayne's head. Instead, Wayne talks about how he scored a wonderful goal every 10 pages of the book, which doesn't tell you much. His explanations about incidents are too carefully written and he has not spoken ill about almost anyone in the book, which is very hard to believe.
Unfortunately, I did not buy this book from Flipkart and ended up paying a full 399 rupees. People should read Gary Neville's autobiography, it is much better.
I Got the product 10 days back ,Thanks to Flipkart .Completed it reading Yesterday that is 29th Dec 12.Loved the book ,Rooney explains in it that how he had dream to be in Everton Team when he was a child, his wish got fulfilled & got the Ticket To go In Everton Team at a young age i.e. 16 Years. Then in 2004 he left Everton for good & Joined Manchester United,
he thought of going into the Spain Team But choosed Manchester,he still Remembers the overhead kick that he had hitten against Man City . He has played with Top Players like, Ronaldo, Scholes,Giggs,Van Nistelrooy,Van Der Sar in his career till now,he also sees the mistake he does when he is not playing correctly on his Telly & also he also tells those players who speak when the Manager is speaking they get the "Hair Dryer Treatment" from The Manager.
The cover of this book is simply mouth watering for any Manchester United fan. This book is for many boys like me who are following the Red Devils for almost a decade now.
You will live each and every word written in this book, and icing on the cake is it coming from none other than " Number 10" - Wayne Rooney !!!
This book undermines many of the behind the scenes facts that we don't get to know by simply watching premier league.
Go for it all you Red Devils out there !!
the book gives you enough satisfaction from the 1st chapter itself. 1st chap gives you all details you want about that wonder goal he scored against "citeh" in manchester derby. Photos are really a bonus. most of the unfortunate fans like me who never went to old trafford can feel what an experience it would be to score a goal in OT. but come on, rooney fans want this book, no review can stop or push them to buy this book.
