Kannadigas Miss Shankar Nag
No otherthan Ananth Nag could have written about shankar nag in such a wonderful book. This book tells how shankar nag grown in a small village, how he spent his time in Ashram, his struggles in Mumbai, shooting of Malgudi Days and then his public life. Ananth nag narrated the book just like a very famous writer though he he is an actor. Shankar Nag and his dreams were realy owesome. He dreamt of Metro in Bangalore, a cheaper house for poor, also a amusement park about 25 year back which are becoming reality now. Shankr Nag spent only 36 years of life in this world but he left his foot prints forever. This book is must read not only for every shank nag fans, but also for every Kannadiga.
Regarding flipkart and its delivery- as usual- wonderful!! delivey within a day. I am pleased to get a kannada book online.

Shankar Nag Forever!
This is an epic of one of the Very talented minds of all time "The Great Shankar Nagarakatte" aka "Shankar Nag". His brother Ananth Nag has shared all the experiences right from child hood, the days they spent together at Anandashram (Kasaragod), Mumbai to mention a few. It is a Biography of Legend Shankar Nag. Each and every fan of Shankar Nag has to read this book once, you ll surely get to know many facts that you did not know about him. Nicely written by Ananth. Great work. Love you Shankaranna.. We will miss you. You leave in our hearts forever.
"OK" kind of book(with INCOMPLETE information)
I have read this book as I love shankarNag and his works.
But the only thing which motivated me to continue reading is the information about ShankarNag.
Apart from the the fact that this is the only book about ShankarNag which is written by AnantNag.
In most of all the places the writer has not written the facts interestingly. It looks like he ignored.
For Ex: Malgudi Days shootings,awards and all.There is just mention of ShankarNag.
Little more info what happened after Shankaranna died in accident.
Moreover he has not even mentioned about shankar's Family(wife and Child).
at last I can consider this as OK kind of book.
Shankaranna fans will not get all the information they want.
