A masterpiece by a genius !
A Big Thank to flipkart for keeping in their book list ( and specially for delivering bengali books to all over India) . Initially I was really not sure whether the quality will be good or not but it is really glamourous!
1. Full of rare information - there are many details history given for each of characters. Even though we are reading for years, this is unknown to us.
2. Many rare comics - other than popular comics of hand bhonda, nonte fonte few other comics are there e.g. Mutki sutki, potol chand, botuk laal etc
3. Rare illustrations - few book covers designed by narayan debnath
4. Price - well ..what else can you expect in Rs 450/- ? At this price you can hardly get a 70 pages comics book in english! Go for it guys !
5. Only negative thing I found is that - it is little heavy and thick to read while lying on bed.
This book is for the people like who share their childhood with bantul, handa bhonda, nonte fonte and bahadur beral. It is something more than just nostalgia.This book represents immortal work of a man who is probably the only known name in bengali comics till date.
Hats off to the person(s) who worked hard to put all this together under 2 hard covers. This is collectible book for all bong readers. This master piece is a tribute to genius Sri Narayan Debnath.
I am gonna order the second part for sure :)

Comics-Samagra is a part by part project .... Comics-Samagra Vol 1, 2 and 3 are a continuous process to bring entire comics of Narayan Debnath SERIALLY .... but most of his UNPUBLISHED (Rare) COMICS are collected within those 3 parts .... volume 1 printing quality is not up to the mark as it was collected from 40-50 years OLD BOOKs .... hence the original book condition was poor which reflects in the "RE-PRODUCTION" after so many years.... THANKS LALMATI FOR THIS INITIATIVE to bring the LOST WORLD

Bangla comic fans - Must buy
If you have grown up reading Batul the great, nonte fonte, hada bhoda, bahadur beral etc, you must buy this one. It's a keeper.
I had an awesome time reading this and the binding on this is awesome. It's a bengali comic collection, so this review may not be relevant for English readers. Illustrations were amazing.
