Netgear N300 WIRELESS ROUTER (JWNR2000)

I was searching for an N-router when I came across this product on Flipkart.This product has reasonable features set given its price point.However,I could barely find any reviews of this product on any of the popular reviews websites.So,I based my decision on Netgear's brand name and the feature set offered.Its been more than 3 weeks since I purchased this and so far my experience with this product has been more than satisfactory.
My key takeaways so far-
1. Setup was a breeze-It took just around 20-25 minutes to complete setup and without any hiccups
2. Good range
3. Decent Throughput-The reason I chose this router was because it had 300Mbps throughput and the product lives up to its specifications
4. Works very well with my iPhone!! I had no problem so far,surfing on my phone using this router
5. Performance and Speed were unaffected even after enabling AES encryption(128-bit), which is one of the highest levels of encryption and are thought to slow down the network speed
6. Comes with 2 year warranty against many products in the market with just 1 year warranty
7. Impressive after sales service- I was unable to register the product at Netgear's site.But I got my task done in a matter of minutes when I got in touch with customer support of Netgear India.Thoroughly impressed by their responsiveness and willingness to help
8. Apparently cheap build quality- I was a bit surprised when I opened the product.It felt light and a bit cheap.But I later discovered I was wrong in my interpretation.Its sturdy and strong despite being lightweight and plastic-body

I would recommend this product!!

Well I bought this product through Flipkart during Christmas with a Christmas instant cash back scheme of Rs 110.

According to the price, this is a great product. Once again , great delivery by Flipkart although the delivery took 7 days instead of 5. But still , the delivery was not that bad.

Now about the product.

Well after using this product , I can say that Netgear vs Belkin vs TP-Link vs D-link among all these , NETGEAR is the best.....

Pros:
1. Cheap
2. Great Range. I am able to operate 8 laptops at a distance of around 30 feet with 3 walls in between.
3. Contains A LAN (ETERNET CABLE)
4. Very easy to setup. It took me hardly 5 minutes to install.

Cons:
1. Well I think that the D-Link DSL-2750U Wireless N ADSL2 4-Port Wi-Fi Router priced at Rs 2650 could be a better buy if needed a modem wifi router, else this is just rocking.
2. The wifi connection did get disconnected a bit for a few times (around 3) in a span of 6 hours.

Its a decent router for the price..honestly i wasnt too impressed by build quality,range,speed, and connection stability.

Flipkart-Packed it beautifully, Had it delivered in 2 days Flat..good job flipkart.
One company that actually consistantly keeps their customers happy =)

Cons-
-range it gives me is about 12m(2 walls)-20m(no walls) -not much to complain about because it works everywhere in my 2bedroom apt.
-build quality feels like the plastic is cheap quality but it seems sturdy enough
-Speed was very dissapointing..being promised 300Mbps(Mega bits) i expected to get atleast 10-20MB/s (theoretically i should get 37.5MB/s) ,sadly the top speed i got transfering data wirelessly from one machine to another(both win7 HP) was 2.3MB/s both PCs being at a range of ~1meter. very dissapointing.
-Connection stability is quite bad..have to unplug and reconnect the router every 15-16hours.(I even connected its main power to an external spring switch for easy reset)

Pros
-Setup is very easy, no software installation required
-No additional WAN config required if your modem is already setup
-Does not replace your modems config page (192.168.1.1) but user routerlogin.com making it easy to seperately configure Modem and Wifi Router
-Qos and WMM actually work and Media(movies,youtube,music,games etc) is given higher priority to normal data
-Very low heat generation, stays cool for hours(that is works =p) together

overall i'm moderately dissatisfied with my buy..I hate having to constantly reset things..otherwise its nice enough.
does everything i need it to..4 wired connections work well
ps. this review was written after installing and testing latest firmware provided by netgear.

So basically, if you dont mind switching your router adapter off and on every few hours, its a very good buy =)

Finally i found a good router in low budget, when I found this NETGEAR N ROUTER on Flipkart. Decent Throughput-The reason behind I choose this product was because it had 300Mbps throughput and the product lives up to its specifications. it get registered in minutes and i also updated my netgear router firmware. it was easy to update my firmware and it took only 5 minutes to update.Performance were unaffected even after enabling AES encryption(128-bit), which is one of the highest levels of encryption and are thought to slow down the network speed. The build quality is cheap.my laptop get frequently disconnected after few minutes or hour.otherwise speed is awesome.it is Simple to configure the router.

I WAS SATISFIED WITH ITS PERFORMANCE AND SPEED.

This is THE router to buy.
Brilliant range (even across floors), Brilliant speed (I get good browsing quality even with 1 unit signal). Most importantly I can play counter strike on an internet server with pings of less than 50 ms on wifi. Advanced admin features (name it, you have it). At its price point this is a deal. I would suggest you get a DLink ADSL modem without wifi and plug it into this for happy browsing.

I currently have it coupled with 2 other JWNR2000 routers in repeater mode to extend wifi across 3 floors (G+2). Gaming performance is best when connected to the base station.

Problems:
a) Had a little problem using skype but I sould blame my BSNL connection for it.
b) Repeater mode supports only WEP key. Security problem.

On the whole, a must buy.
