The book is highly influenced by the personal experiences of the author and how he connected to the people around him in his life. Using this as the foundation, Ferrazzi lays down the specific steps of the sure-shot technique to achieve personal success. The Best Social Skills Book EverAfter reading Never Eat Alone, the classic "How to win friends and influence people' seems obsolete and not so classic anymore. Never Eat Alone is worth its weight in gold. One of the self helps that literally has changed my attitude and behaviour socially, for the better of course. I bought the hardcover edition by mistake, go for paper back to save hundred bucks but this book!! I've read 4-5 other social skills books and this is the best of the lot.
