The Nikon 1 DSLR camera is powered by the EXPEED 3 image processor which reduces noise (grains) in your photos with 2 powerful engines that work simultaneously to process up to 600 megapixels a second. Performance

The 1 J1 features a Nikon 1 mount that can accept interchangeable lenses, letting you take multiple kinds of images with a single camera. You can use F mount NIKKOR lenses with this camera. The lens in this kit features a focal length of 10 - 30 mm and a 35 mm equivalent focal length of 27 - 81 mm.

The lens has an aperture range of f/3.5 - 5.6, which controls the amount of light that the image sensor is exposed to. You can even zoom to a limited amount at full telephoto. This Nikon DSLR camera has a hybrid autofocus with an AF-assist illuminator that lets you be in control of how and where you focus. With single-point, auto area and subject tracking focus modes, the camera has 135 auto focus areas and 41 focus areas that can be achieved with the auto area focus mode.

With a light sensitivity range of ISO 100 - 3200, you have additional control on your photographs. The electronic shutter has a functioning speed of 1/16000 - 30 sec, with a bulb that lets you keep the shutter open for however long you need to compose spectacular images. The built-in pop-up flash synchronizes with the shutter to light up your canvass better, ensuring bright and sharp images every time.

The self-timer will delay shutter release by 2, 5 or 10 seconds, allowing the camera to stabilize and take blur-free images on its own. The Continuous Shooting mode can take up to 5 frames per second, while increasing that to 10, 30 or 60 fps in the Electronic (Hi) shutter mode. 

The Nikon SLR camera supports RAW and JPEG formats in image shooting and AAC in video shooting. You can transfer images from your camera to computer using the USB port, to free up additional space for more photographs. The Nikon J1 lets you watch your Full HD videos and high resolution images on a large screen television, with the HDMI Type C mini-pin connector.
