Reasonably satisfied
After a long wait, I finally managed to get hold of this product on flipkart (courtesy notification facility, once in stock). It was a long anxious wait since there isn't any substitute remote for D3100 camera (unfortunately!).
The product was delivered well with-in stipulated time. However, the packaging wasn't per standard I expected from flipkart, the packaging was in poor condition. I also didn't find the remote in condition one would expect new product to be in. There were small scratch marks on remote, probably due to poor packaging as mentioned above.
The remote is very easy to use and didn't need to spend more than 5 mins. to understand how it works. Tested all the options (burst/ blob/ etc.) and everything seems to be working like charm.
Overall, I'll say I'm reasonably satisfied with the product. Deducting 2 stars only for i) poor packaging and, ii) scratches. Rest no issues. Thank you flipkart.
Useful accesory, works as expected
Got it delivered aprrox 24hrs from the time I ordered, which was a pleasant surprise.
Checked out on my cam: D90, works in all the expected shooting modes, S, L, H, Self timer, with exposure delay mode, in bulb mode. 'Hold; is working as expected. Half press will autofocus(if AF enabled).
Literally its parallel to shutter relase button i.e the normal shutter release button will be active along with MC-DC2.
Bit overpriced from Original Equipment Manufacturer, so 4/5.
Overall I am impressed with the product & flipkart's service.

Worth for value
Got it within 24 hours of placing the order. Good packing.
M using the product for Nikon D7000 and it works as it says.
Its very useful when I am shooting birds near any lake or water body, I use focal more than 300mm where there will be a chance of camera shake.
Very useful for fireworks photos, where you need long exposure.
Worth for the value paid.
Overall satisfied with flipkart service n product.

Need it for long exposures
It does what it does. You will gonna need it for night photography or shooting anything where you need long exposures.
I find it more use full than remote as I don't have to play with dials to make my cam go in IR remote control mode.
Pretty good and timely delivered.
Best for Long Exposure.
