Pros: powerful, easy to use, creative (comes with big diffuser and gel holder), can act as master, remote flash.
Cons: will over heat at times, little heavy for crop sensor cameras.
I'm a wedding photographer, so speedlights are essential to me. It puts out plenty of light, and works seamlessly with any nikon body.
It is different than the 800 in a few practical ways:
Can works as Master.
It feels more solid.
There's a real on/off switch.
It includes a new gel holder.
It has a bigger, better included diffuser box.
It has a very cool control wheel and interface.
It puts out more light. It's stronger than the 800, which is useful from time to time.
So I like it, would recommend it and use it a lot with great satisfaction.
