I bought this for my father in law and he is around 75. For him we wanted give something very basic and Nokia 101 is just perfect for that. I have found my local shop sells this Rs.400 less though from the price its given here. But thats fine. Very sleek , user friendly and light weight. Perfect for simple phone category and ofr those who just needs the call. Duel sim and torch just the add on in this price range. Super recommended product

More and more people are using Smartphones in Europe, and Nokia's sales are plummeting at a worrisome rate, however, I still use the Nokia 101. Why do I use it? It's because I can keep this mobile phone on day and night for almost 1 week, and always be available during that time. Even the most sophisticated and expensive Smartphones can't do that.
I also love the speaking alarm clock that serves as a reminder of what time it is. I do however, miss a multiple-alarm feature. Samsung has budget mobile phones that can handle multiple-alarms.
From time to time, I use the FM radio for listening to the latest news. I hardly use the mp3 player though, but I'm glad it's there as an added feature. It's possible to increase the music capacity with an up to 16GB micro SD card, which is another very good added feature. The flashlight is also very useful. It recently, was very helpful when I tried to install new RAM sticks into my computer. Overall, this is a very good and useful mobile phone for the price, even for the Smartphone spoiled European public. As the good old saying goes, "less is more", which I would say is true for the Nokia 101.
I agree that a micro / mini USB charging port would have been user friendlier than the Nokia charging port, but it's definitely not a deal breaker for me.
And for your information, the Nokia 101's that are sold in Europe are made in India! :-)

very good basic phone.As expected, very fast delivery by flipkart.
if any one want to purchase a low cost mobile , this will solve your purpose. Also very long battery back-up. Once full charged, you will be tension free for 3 to 4 days.

PROS: excellent design
light weight
excellent loud speakers and so many themes to choose from
good bright screen for the day
and all the specifications in the paper are performing extremely well . it also has a expenses app where we can enter our daily expenses and keep a check which is v. good

now it cmes with a glossy finish which looks very good to look at :-)

CONS: NO USB PORT (BUT IT IS FINE FOR THIS PRICE)SO WE SHOLUD HAVE A CARD READER TO COPY SONGS FROM THE PC TO MOBILE

FOR ME THE CALL QUALITY WAS NOT THAT GREAT . EVEN WITH EXCELLENT SIGNAL I HAD DIFFICULTIES IN UNDERSTANDING VOICES.
(MAYBE ITS JUST MY DEVICE AND IT IS A VERY MINOR ISSUE )

if u r the person under these categories listed above who wants a phone , my recommendation is jus go for it without thinking. im sure u will not regret.

this is the best budget Nokia phone. battery back up is very very good. buy it with your eyes closed. flipkart is very prompt in delivering the product and product was very well packed.

I am amazed to get this mobile. I mostly use mobile for voice calls, and listen music when I am driving. This mobile fulfill all the requirements. Best in the Class phone. Last but not least, fantastic service by flip kart, got the mobile in 1 day.

Nokia-branded phone with dual-SIM and MP3 player getting below Rs 1500/- makes it a worthiest low-end cell phone. Sound quality is not good some times. Unlike all my previous cells from Nokia, this battery takes long time to get charged

Battery back up is the best in this mobile.
This is my second Nokia 101. Best for people who feel lazy to charge often.
Memory card and MP3 music playback will last for hours.
Fm added an extra advantage.
