Nokia Asha 501
The Nokia Asha 501 is a good devise for those who only use the mobile phone for calling and texting. Apart from this there are some bad points about this product that the fact that it only supports 2G network and Whatsaap is very slow.
Having said the above the Camera is great for a product like this and touch response is awesome, I have liked the product but will handover it to my younger brother as switch to Lumia devises because I want speed Internet on Mobile phone.

The BETTER alternative
I have been using Nokia Asha 501 (Cyan) for a month now. It runs on Nokia Asha Software Platform 1.0 and is a welcome change from Android. The build Quality is good.the touch is responsive. There is no lag in loading of any applications and works quite smoothly. Rarely during gaming u may get a msg " something went wrong with running this app " . A good Phone for 5K
the phone came in time for her Birthday. The phone was sent from calcutta(to bombay), the box didn't have a plastic cover to protect it from the rain, so as a result the box was wet and damaged but not opened. It was really bad on behalf of flipkart to send an electronic item in the monsoon without proper protection from the rain. Two minus points for flipkart on this lapse.

Good phone
It works fine, looks cute, but a bit limited.
One thing I did not like about it, it forgets your Wi-Fi password, so every time it goes out of range or power cycled, I have to type the password again to connect.
