Nokia Battery BP-4L

I mainly use Nokia E63 mobile for checking my work emails and call anyone in the time of work emergency.

The battery which comes with the mobile originally used to serve the purpose max 1.5 or within 2 days. After purchasing this new one, it comes upto 3 days.

I dont browse much on the mobile, so my usage is limited to see the emails (where the mobile is always connected to the internet all the time and I get quite a load of emails each day) and I use for calling others like 5 or 6 times in a day. So in my usage it serves 3 days, if you use extra like camera, music, or internet radio or chat services all the time, then say the battery power may come 1.5 days most.

Over all it is good battery compared to the battery which comes with the mobile when you purchase.

Note: Always remember not to overcharge the battery (especially Nokia). When you put the mobile on charge and when you see the message "battery full" please switch off the charging power, dont leave unattained. If overcharged slowly the life of the battery will start to reduce.

I was thinking of buying this battery from quite sometime but was little hesitant to buy online. Based on the review experiences, i decided to go for it from Flipkart.

Quick Delivery - Ordered it on Saturday.. Received on following tuesday afternoon... Shud say two working days only.. Which i would rate 5..

Packaging - Really nice..

When i opened the product, It was looking little old.. However i did not faced any issue with the Battery after i took it out..

I am using it from almost 10 days now and recharged it only three times... On an average 3 days per Recharge..

So, i would say awesome battery backup...

It is a very good battery. In my E63 it runs up to 3 days after fully charging in regular calling.Don't think or hesitate to buy it.
That was pretty fast. It came nicely packed and was genuinely sealed.I was in doubt when i saw the battery without a hologram. To make sure , checked out the nokia's website and they have two versions of BP-4L. With and without hologram. However there is no way to identify you got a genuine battery apart from taking it to nearest nokia care.

I have been using it for nearly two weeks now after I received from Flipkart and I have only charged once in between. I got it for my Nokia E63 phone which I use only to make and receive calls which is not more than 1-2 per day. I used to use my Nokia E63 for syncing my email on real-time basis in the past but do not do it anymore as I have got Android tablets and smartphones to do the job nowadays.

So, I do not use a huge lot of work with my mobile phone and is purely for calling and receiving calls nowadays. The original battery 3-4 years gave 3 days backup after all the real-time email syncing and notifications. With this Flipkart replacement battery, it lasted for more than 11 days in one charge. After charging the mobile with the replacement battery for the first time, I did not charge it anymore to check the backup of the battery. After 11 days, it came to 1 bar on my Nokia E63 and still was not showing the low battery notification. So, that would have meant that it was on the higher side of the single battery bar and would have lasted for another day or two. So, 12 days is the battery backup that can be expected for a single charge.

The only problem I am facing now is that I forget to charge my other smartphones as they give backup of only a day or two. Previously, I used to charge the Nokia E63 and the other smartphone at the same time as both used to last a day or two (Nokia battery was nearly dead and hence, the low battery life of 1-2 days). Now, I do not worry about charging the Nokia phone and also forget to charge the other phone at times due to the same. I am more of an Android guy but I have to commend Nokia and Symbian platform at least for the incredible battery backup. I have used dozens of phones in my life from nearly all major brands. But in terms of battery life and build quality/rough and tough feature, Nokia and especially their Symbian platform is the baap of all mobile phones.
