Nokia C1-01 Reviews

After my Nokia XPress Music stopped working (seawater had entered the system at the beach). I decided to go in for a simple, no frills Nokia C1-01.. This was my 3rd Nokia phone and my expectation was it would be a strong phone, with lesser OS/Firmware issues than Nokia XPress!

Less than a year after buying the phone I have started experiencing these problems:
1. Many messages have turned blank! So text is visible, and when I try to delete them the phone restarts.
2. After trying a soft-reset with no success I am now struggling to backup all the contacts before trying the hard reset that might fix the problem

My sincere advice to everyone is to first Google for known issues with the phone as just reading positive reviews won't help.

This is definitely not a smartphone, but it definitely a good first buy.

Pros:
Great loud, speaker.
Awesome durability(dropped it a hundred times in a few months)
Can easily take the internet

Cons:
Poor battery performance after a few months.
Annoyingly slow. It takes a few seconds for something to come up after you selected it.

its camera is not bad though it is 0.3 only. its zoom quality is magnificient. it has a very good sound quality and battery life is awesum......... totally a very good and user frendly phone.I'm giving 4 stars as it does not supports avi otherwise its is 6\5...!!!!

Bought this phone from Flipkart. Delivered with nice packaging and delivered the next day. Awesome service from Flipkart.
Phone is really nice.

Pros and Cons:
+ Under 2k it's packed with lot of features.
+ I could even use Nimbuzz on it to chat with friends.
+ MP3, FM
+ Long battery life (Runs for almost 4 days on single charge with medium usage)
+ Nice backup phone to have
- Earphones are not so good but for the price point its ok

I have taken this mobile (Nokia C1 - 01) from flipkart .com. This is very good for use and also look n feel is also good. But one problem is there in this mobile is sound is less as expected. Except this one problem , all other features are good in my opinion.

Nice phone. I has all the basic features you need for making and receiving calls. Numbers on the screen appears large that makes easier for the person to read them even without specs. Quite handy and light weight.

Have been using c1-01 for last 4-5 months. Delivery was on time, product works as advertised and meets my expectaions.

would recommend it for users looking for a economic and rugged product with basic featuresd (media, FM, BT).

I got the delivery ontime and earlier, this phone I purchased for my mother.

at a overall good at reasonable product.

I purchased this phone once and was using it for some time, then I gave it away and purchased a Nokia X1-01.

The C1-01 is nice and simple and comes with all the basic features that you'd expect. It's light and tough and is of better build quality than a lot of the other companies in this price range.

However the screen is not so big and it is definitely quite slow. It's not so bad, but you do notice it taking a little longer than most phones when using it.

It's not terribly slow, and I wouldn't really expect amazing performance for a phone at this price. It is definitely fine for occasional usage or if you call or sms every now and then.

If you are using your phone all the time and use internet on it, I would suggest going for something with a bigger screen and that isn't as slow.

Flipkart beat my local store's price by 200rs!

So really if you need a second phone or you don't use your phone so much, then get this as it's really quite a good little phone. The battery life is amazing, like all the Nokias I've had, I rarely bother to charge it. It only goes down fast with internet usage.
