Nokia C2-00

hii all
this is a gud phone by nokia but i would like to talk about pros and cons of the product:
Pros:
1. Trust of nokia
2. battery is cool.
3. phone works superb as a modem
4. 2nd sim swappable outside
Cons:
1. has S40 platform of symbian so it dont support much java apps
2. camera is only for name even in sunlight its not performing
3. it has 3.5 mm jack but audio output is very low
4. its earpiece volume is also low.
5. speed performance is not satisfactory
6. display quality is very poor.

in a nutshell i would say that this was a gud try by nokia and anybody who is looking for a basic smartphone with in budget of 2.5k its a good deal atleast better than those silly chineese or micromax or lava etc ....

Bought this phone 3 weeks before. I wanted to use the phone for sometime before I review it. I have used phones of almost all types and OS. But I needed a dual sim phone. Since there is no gr8 dual sim smart phone I had to go for a cheaper one. I should say I made the right choice.

Here comes my review
Pros:
1. Good battery life(2 days when used extensively)
2. Good Signal reception. Many people complained about this but I don't think they are true.
3. PC connectivity. I installed Nokia OVI store. Works amazing with that. Please be aware that the data cable doesn't come with the pack. Either you have to buy one or use bluetooth instead.
4. Timer. I am over delighted on this. It comes with a programmable interval timer. It will be helpful for those who do Yoga/excerises!!! Believe me you will be astonised with this.
5. Home Screen feature - Good to have!!!
6. Bluetooth for data transfer: Works as advertised!!!
7. Expandable Memory: Can be expanded upto 32 GB I think. Since I never intended to use it for listening music I had just put 8 gb memory card. The default earphone that comes with the pack doesn't sound appealing but works decent with better earphones.

Cons:
1. Camera: Poor quality camera. Its purely a overkill for this mobile. I somehow felt the phone will do better without the camera provided.
2. Power saver Display: If you try to call someone, even b4 they pick up, the display goes off to save power. I usually see the display until the called person picks up the phone. The most irritating part is when you press button to get back the display, the button action is also getting performed. i.e., when you press down or up navigation button, the volume is getting changed in addition to turning on the display. If you don't understand what I am talking here, then most likely you will not bother about this issue.
3. No Multiple alarm: I expected this feature. But.... :-(
4. Minor usability bugs: Since I had used phones of different brands, I could find some minor usability bugs. Hope its not a big issue for Nokia Users.
5. Dual sim Active: When you are in a call using a sim, the other sim is swithced off totally. It doesn't bother me much but please be aware before you go for this type of phone.

Reg Flipkart delivery: This is my first order in Flipkart. I got this delivered in the next day. Inspite of the fact that I also reside at Bangalore, its really good to see your gadget in the next day.

Bottom Line: It's really good dual sim phone to buy. Eventhough I bought the black colored one, I feel the grey one looks much appealing!!!! BTW I checked the price of this mobile is cheaper in Flipkart than many of the leading mobile stores!!!!

For those of u who want to buy this fone:
Pros.
- Excellent battery life.
- Good Signal reception on both SIMS.
- Good Music Player (use a wired headset or loud speaker) & FM radio & recorder too.
- Ability to take 32 GB cards too.
- EDGE/GPRS works very well for Opera Mini & FB app, though it is supported by the SIM1 only.
- Active home screen is useful.

Cons.
- Both earpiece & loudspeaker work at the same time (inconvenient if u work in a quiet place & very convenient if u work in a noisy place).
- When u receive/make a call on SIM1, then SIM2 is turned off & u cannot receive/make any calls/SMS on SIM2 till you have finished your call on SIM1.
- Sound quality of music played over Bluetooth stereo headsets is bad (sounds like 16 kbps mono).
- No Equalizer presets.
- No USB charging even though it has a micro USB port.

Overall, I am very satisfied with it, though I didn't expect a revolutionary fone at just INR 2690/-(Approx. 60 USD).

Really it's nice and it is performig well.Two sim's running parllel.But there is no special button to operate second sim.

Hi , Nice Phone 4m Nokia . Both Sim Works , Battery last 3 days with normal use.

now dont buy china mobile just go 4 Nokia C2-00
