Nokia Charger AC-3N

Hi friends,

I had ordered this charger couple of months back as my nokia charger AC-5N was lost.

To my surprise i couldn't find my charger back instead i was getting Nokia Charger AC-3N everywhere.

I am a regular visitor, reviewer & purchaser from Flipkart and had ordered this charger in Nov'11.

Everyone in my family is using a nokia mobile and i was zapped to see that this charger takes hours to charge a single device.

Normally my old charger used to take about 40 - 50 minutes to charge my mobile completely but this one takes almost 3 hours not with just my smart phone but also with other basic nokia mobiles.

Overall i am not at all satisfied with Nokia Charger AC-3N.

I have purchased this charger a couple of times (from Flipkart) since I require one for my home and the other I carry to my office.

Pros -

1) The charger fits snugly in any socket of your home. Thanks to this 3 pin charger. The 2 pin charger was such a hassle for me since half the time was spent in adjusting the charger.

Cons -

1) The wire is too short. I need to keep my phone really close to the socket while charging.

2) The small thin pin (which you insert in your phone) is too fragile. I was twisting and pushing it in order to make sure that it is plugged into my phone and it simply broke. You must insert it very delicately and listen for the click sound. I took it to the Nokia care center and they told me that even if the charger was under warranty period the product won't be replaced.

3) It takes time to charge but that's not a problem for me since I charge during nighttime.

Overall verdict -

Do buy this if you can't find any other suitable 3 pin charger. Flipkart offers best price, product and service! Hats off to you guys! :)

once i had been to my local market to buy a battery for my nokia 1200. the original battery for nokia care was worth Rs 750/-, but here i was getting it for 300 only, also there was no difference in their looks(same greenish hologram, same contrast printing on the battery). some how a shopkeeper convinced me of the battery quality by showing his own mobile with the same battery.the authenticity was proved when i checked it from the nokia website. after few days i realized that the fully charged battery last for just few hours (almost one forth of the charge of the original battery).
so learning from this mistake i chose to buy original nokia charger from this site. in my opinion any one can be deceived if one goes by looks.....

I have been a flipkart customer since quite a time now.I have praised about every thing i purchased but this one, meh!

It just takes a longer time to charge the phone.Though this is completely nokia's fault, you do not have any option either.

I would say, pretty nice charger but only qualm is, takes way longer than the ones which come with the phone, nokia knows why!

Output current of the charger is 300mA compared to 600mA of other fast chargers hence it is a slow charger. But fast charging can be detrimental to the phone's battery life! One has therefore to make a compromise,friends.
