Good Phone, Good Performance

Good. Should have the upgrade option to Windows 8.1 which would have been great..!!

anyway, the screen is very tough and has a very good speed and so is the performance.

Don't you have a 'zero' star option?

Had bought this handset 1 year 4 months ago and it started troubling me almost immediately. Was 8 months pregnant and husband was very busy so couldn't do much about it. Following are the reasons why I might just like to keep the phone:

1. UI is good.
2. Camera is good.
3. Over the…

I have bought this product. A quick review could be:
The display and the touch is outstanding.
- No Bluetooth for sharing files across phones
- No Micro SD Slot

There are a lot of expert reviews about this phone already in the internet. So,
instead of just re-stating the same, I thought of covering few areas that are
practically essential.

WP7.5: Can't be upgraded to WP8. (WP7.5, when introduced, was not compatible
with HD Screens, Multi-core processors and expandable SD card slots. These '-'ves
were corrected in WP8) But to tell u guys, these are no big deals. 13.8 gigs of
internal storage seems ok, and the 800x480 (252 ppi) resolution for a 3.7 inch
display looks fine, and the OS is stunningly fluid without dual core p

Eyegasm.....Wild and Sexy Lumia!

It all started back in Dec 2011 when I first saw this dame of phones! I was blown away, not by OS, performance but by the sheer presence.
I wondered what the name could mean, further digout, it was revealed to me that it meant snow (Prostitute in spanish! lol).
No wonder both are my obsessions.

Cut to July 2012, I bought one for myself and believe me its amongst the best decisions I've made in my otherwise dreary life!

First of all, to all the Apple/Android fanboys who have been left intimidated by the shockingly fast fluidity and performance of a WP 7.5 and to those w

Too Good...!!!

Mango Beats apple guys. This is a must have one. May be Samsung Omnia W might have a better screen and cost. The choice is your's. But Microsoft has done an awsome Job here. Especially after the update which fixes Twitter and FaceBook. The most userfriendly i've ever seen. Android 2.3 looks cheap in from of Mango(Windows Mobile7.5).

Pure pleasure

I bought Lumia 800 through flipkart and it was a speedy delivery. 2 days. That was fast.

Initially I was an Andriod fan. Although I never owned one, I have used sets like Wildfire S, Galaxy S, XPeria Arc etc owned by friends. I also had plans to buy a Galaxy S.

Then I came across HTC Mozart and I was impressed with WP 7.5. I have since then kept tab on all the new releases.

I have tried my hands at Dell Venue Pro, Omnia W and HTC Mozart (Mango updated) before rounding upon Lumia 800 as my phone. And this one's a beauty.

A Fantastic Phone

This is a fantastic phone and is highly recommended. A fresh OS and much need change from Android and iOS.

And please dont be misguided by reviewers and analysis based on only the specifications. (e.g single core processor, 512 MB RAM etc.)If only compared at a hardware level, new android devices in this price range would score better.

I suggest you to have a hands on experience of this phone and I bet you will love it. I read a review yesterday which compared the new nexus with lumia and nexus scored against the lumia on almost all fronts, but in the verdict the reviwer says tha

Love it!

This is the best phone running Windows Phone 7 out there in the market. The stunning AMOLED screen with CBT is one of the best screens in the market. Many would object that SGSII has the best screen but SGSII's whites are bluish whereas Lumia 800's are not. Some would say that it does not have a dual core processor but the fact is that WP7 does not needs dual core processor, its fast and responsive and does not lags, ever and Android always does. With bonus features of Nokia on WP7 like NokiaDrive and NokiaMusic it gives a very beautiful user experience.

The most beautiful and smoothest phone ever made.

It doesnt matter if a phone is dual core or single core. Trust me WP7 devices are insanely smooth & buttery to interact with. Even more than iOS and Android.
Metro UI is incredible. Everything is just so logical, clean and plain fun to use.
The problem of battery backup has also been solved in the software update.
Market place has very useful and high quality apps growing day by day.
Price maybe a bit high, but note that you are paying for an incredible machine with best hardware quality ever with 1.4GHz processor, with multitasking WP7.

This is a great phone. Nokia you have arrived finally and with a bang.It is the best phone available today in the market. Forget Samsung galaxy etc..just holding the Lumia gives you a different experience. Great engineering product from Nokia Lumia 800. I have used Galaxy 2 and iPhone but belive me the Lumia phone physical quality is robust and OS is like butter.Noting comparable either from Samsung or iPhone. Future will be for Nokia once again.

This phone is a blast!

Android, iOS, Blackberry blah blah...I am using it since ages and was so bored of it. this phone i bot last week is like breath of fresh air! sucha fresh phone with superb OS. I never owned a nokia nor a windows phone.. but this phone rocks! This phone is a serious underdog!i bought it for 21K and in a week price dropped to 18.8K... WTH its still worth it!

1)Built quality: Its absolute. ITs the best ever and better than any phone in the market. It gives a smooth cavlar finish which boasts "class" the feel is absolutely lavish when u hold lumia 800
2)Display: The best so far.

MY Lumia Experience

My views, for what it's worth; This is an excellent little device. Had it for just over a week now, and love the fact that complete strangers are coming up to me and asking me what device I'm using. It's gorgeous - pictures don't really do it justice, the screen is pure black and merges beautifully into the very narrow bezel. The design is pure gold!

WP Mango is sweet, I love the UI, and the integration of messages, photos, FB, Twitter etc is the best of any mobile OS out there. Full stop. Or period. Whatever.
No mobile OS has anything that competes with that.
