Norton AntiVirus 2012 5 PC 1 Year

I have used norton antivirus in corporate network over 10000 users. norton is not the best, it has several problem with spyware detection and new virus detection (specially for trozan horse). almost 80% of laptops have problem with spyware and trozans. although program and virus pattern file is latest it was unable to detect.
A new virus came and it will detect after 4-5 days always ,where kaspersky detect within some hours or 1 day after virus release.

also norton has issue with firewall, it is not intelligent self learning one.
I have submitted several new virus samples to norton but detections came some days after. where kaspersky respond with solution within 2 hours, great service.

norton has problem with generic and heuristic scan, generates so many false alarms.

and so on problems with norton.

there in another setup with kaspersky. infection rate is 0% for over a year. robust protection , very high detection rate. very few false alarm, system tuning for better protection. fast customer support response, we just love this product.

Conclusion - don't just go by names. think twice before buying norton. use kaspersky internet security or kaspersky pure. you will never regret. do a market research you will find the truth about norton..

It's true before 2008 or so Norton used to be heavy and slow in scanning.
But now its is one of the fastest and light antivirus. And in term of virus detection its always be the good one. Before 2008 i used to be Quick Heal fan and now i am of Norton. Quick Heal is now bit more heavy than Norton. Kaspersky is always at the good stand in term of antivirus. But frankly, Norton is better in terms of performance now. Although Kaspersky is really good antivirus.

This is an awesome antivirus software from Symantec. Lite and faster. Does not slow down the sysytem and works fine on my Compaq CQ40-315TU............................................. .............................................................................................................................. .............................................................................................................................. I have been using Norton Antivirus for the last 3-4 years and I have never seen my system to be infected by any virus or spyware. The only disadvantage is its Idle Time Optimizer due to which there is lot of disk activity always when the computer is idle (say your are watching a movie etc..) and I have to enable its Silent Mode, otherwise it is very effective in detecting threats in the system. For the Flipkart, I must say the delivery is awesome. I placed order in the evening and got it in the early morning next day. Flipkart rocks...
