its really cool down my hp dv6 laptop
all cooling pad is not effective for all laptop. some laptop need not cooling pad, some cooling pad not effective for some type of laptop with new technology air intake. but my old hp dv6 amd model extremely hot after using just 5minute at high performance mode and this cooling pad really cool down my laptop when using on it. its fan position is perfect for air intake like dv6 laptop.

PROs:
* Awesome Silent Fan, probably one of the best
* Very good and neat Built
* Cushion at the back good for keeping on Lap
* Saves a USB port with USB extenion
* USB wire and slots made craftly. The wire never hangs from anywhere
* Consumes very less battery
* Great value for Money
CONs:
* Not as sleek as the picture suggests. Quite thick
* Not one of the lighest pads. Weight around 800gms - 1KG
* Better for Big-laptops (15" or More). My big 15.6" DELL Studio covers around 90% of the Pad's top
* Avoid if you have a 9-Cell Inclined battery, as the pad is pretty inclined because of the cushion
Over-all a good product. Priotize your needs and choose accordinly.

Superb! Works as advertised
I bought this cooling pad for my Lenovo Y560 laptop which heats up a lot even during normal use.
I received the package a couple of days after order was placed and the cooling pad has been working flawlessly.
I can place the laptop on my lap now for hours without feeling the heat and it works fine when placed on a desk as well.
The cooling pad fan is quite silent and I barely hear it.
A side-effect of the laptop being better cooled seems to be that the battery life is considerably more now over the last couple of days. I can only surmise that since the laptop heat is well dissipated by the cooling pad, its had a good effect on battery life.

Good Fit for 17 Inch laptops
I have two 17 inch laptops and the size of this cooling pad makes it the topmost choice. I have a CoolerMaster U3 as well, and found that to be working good with three fans. So this time I tried with single fan solution.
Be aware that the fan is not "pass through", means there is no mesh and the bottom is fit with spongy rest to make it comfortable in lap. downside of such arrangement is that if you have 9 cell battery, keeping the laptop towards the back will make the pad unstable ( risk of flip-over)
Overall, good pad, works well on my Dells!

Perfectly designed for cooling the processor and ram side of the laptop...The "blower fan" has perfect cooling capacity and the noise is "MORDERATE" probably because its a blower fan unlike the processor fans which are quiter...perfect under finish that suits for placing the pad on ur lap (works A-OKAY on desktop too)...i use it for my ACER TRAVELMATE 5720 which heats up too much :) (the morderate fan noise is acceptable for its cooling performance)
