The Minimum Means of nuclear deployment and arms control patterns stem from the belief that deterrence is relatively unaffected by changes in the size, configuration, and readiness of nuclear forces. The overall goal of the book is to provide information about nuclear security activities and thereby reducing the risk of a successful act of nuclear terrorism. Its role in achieving this goal consists of the following broad areas: facilitating athe development of, and adherene to legally binding and non-binding internaitonal instruments: developing internaitonal guidelines and recommendations acceptable to the international community: providing related assessment services, training. equipment and technical advice: and providing or facilitating exchange of information and related services.

I. K. Khan had done his M.A. from Aligarh University and Completed his Ph.d. from J.M.I. in 1992. He has done extensive research on Islamic studies and traditions. His articles published in the leading magasines and periodicals of India, Pakistan and other countries are acclaimed for their analytical approach, in-depth study and dispassionate criticism. He has a number of published books and papers in reputed national and international journals to his credit.
