    A very satisfying read

I had read Mitchell's Ghostwritten earlier and liked his writing style. Then I ordered this. And it was amazing. The story is excellent. Without divulging spoilers, the story takes you to two different periods in Japanese history. Mitchell cleverly changes his language to reflect the period he is depicting, as well the idiosyncrasies of his characters. A must read if you are into this genre.
