The Olympus digital camera has a focal length of 6.0 - 24.0 mm and a 35 mm equivalent focal length of 28 - 112 mm.

The Olympus digital camera is equipped with the iZuiko lens. The Olympus XZ-1 can zoom 4x optically and 16x digitally. This compact point and shoot camera has an integrated CCD image sensor which captures lively images at 10 megapixels resolution.

The stylishly designed body of the Olympus XZ-1 sits comfortably in your hand. This Olympus camera has a straightforward and functional structure which allows you to easily access the Mode Dial and the other control buttons. Battery and Storage

The Olympus compact digital camera has a built-in storage of 54 MB. You can use an SD, SDHC or an SDXC memory card for increasing the storage space. This point and shoot is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery pack which lets you capture up to 320 images on a single charge. You can easily transfer images and videos to a laptop or PC using a USB 2.0 cable. In addition to this, you can even watch high quality on an HDTV using an HDMI connectivity cable.

Performance

The aperture setting controls the amount of light an image is exposed to when clicking a shot. The Olympus XZ-1 has an aperture ranging from f/1.8 - 2.5. The Contrast Detection AF system has 11 point focus areas in Automatic and Manual mode and this camera also has 225 point focus areas in Magnified View Mode. The focus range of the Olympus XZ-1 camera starts from 0.6 m (W and T) in Standard Mode and in the Macro Mode, the focus range starts from 0.1 m (W) and 0.3 m (T). The closest focusing distance in the Super Macro Mode is 1 cm.

This Olympus digital camera comes with ISO ranging from100 - 6400. The shutter speed ranging from 1/2000 - 60 second lets you shoot clear shots of subjects even when they are in motion. In the Bulb Mode, the shutter speed reduces further to 16 minutes. The built-in flash has range of 8.6 m (ISO 800).
