Getting started with this Omron HJ 005 Step Counter Pedometer is simple and uncomplicated. All you need to do is, simply flip open the pedometer and press the reset button to start tracking your step count.
In order to check if the pedometer counts the number of steps correctly, you could walk first 100 steps and check if there is any discrepancy between the number of steps you take and the number shown on the display. If the numbers happen to vary, you could adjust the sensitivity accordingly. This can be achieved by simply shifting the ADJ knob slightly to the positive or negative side.
