The Omron NEC 801 compressor nebulizer incorporates Virtual Valve Technology (V.V.T) that enhances the delivery of medication. With this Virtual Valve Technology, the nebulizer is able to produce more aerosols of respirable size for you to inhale. This unique V.V.T design produces results in lesser parts of aerosol that could be lost and wasted, hence reducing medication wastage.

Body

One of the lightest compressor nebulizer produced by Omron, this nebulizer weighs just 270 g making the device extremely compact and portable. Built to provide ease of use, this nebulizer machine comes in four main parts comprising of the main compressor unit, tubing, medication cup and the mouthpiece with extra face masks that can be alternately used. The compressor unit, which is lightweight and small, houses an on/off button for easy operation and a durable PVC material tubing, that connects the unit to the medication cup and mouthpiece. The compressed air passes through these tubes to convert medication solution contained in a medication cup, into aerosols or mist. The medication cup is capable of holding 7 ml of medication solution.

The medication cup is connected to a mouthpiece that allows you to inhale the medication with ease. If you are not comfortable using the mouthpiece, you have the choice of using a face mask. The nebulizer device comes with an adult and child mask, hence making it ideal for everyone, irrespective of their age.

Performance and Features

The NEC 801 compressor nebulizer by Omron leveraged by its V.V.T design delivers sufficient medication to your lower airways at an average nebulization rate 0.3 ml per minute. Unlike many compressor nebulizers, the compressor unit in this device allows for a very quiet operation with a very low sound level of 46 dB. This nebulizer machine also provides 5 spare air filters that are replaceable, thereby meeting hygiene standards. The filters reduces the chance of infection by removing bacteria from the gas delivered to you, thus preventing normal air particles from polluting your compressor.
