Book: One Shot
Jack's back! In another taut, cool, sexy pageturner. Six shots. Five dead. One heartland city thrown into terror. But within hours the cops have it solved. A slam-dunk case. Except for one thing. The accused man claims: You got the wrong guy. After that, all he’ll say is: Get Reacher for me. Jack Reacher lives off the grid. Lone righter of wrongs, irresistible to women. What could connect the ex-military cop to this obvious psychopath? Those who know call Reacher ‘the thinking reader’s action hero’. Sharp, exciting, addictive, One Shot is sure to get you hooked.

*Unputdownable
Review by Chetan
"One Shot" another fascinating book written by Lee Child.I have time and again failed to predict the future possiblities of the book and that's what exactly makes his each and every book so "UNPUTDOWNABLE".But One Shot is something much more than just UNPUTDOWNABLE , i say this because . This book will definately test your reading skiils not in terms of understanding or something but how fast you can read because you will not be able to bear the suspence for too long and you will definately try and read as fast as you can just to keep up to the pace of the book...This is how the deceptive facade begins...One person fires 6 shots , 5 dead , one shot misses everything. The accuse gets cought within a day or two of the offence. But the first thing he says to the police "You got the wrong guy" and then "Get Reacher for me".Thats when Jack Reacher steps into the picture...But according to Jack , he would be the last person on the face of this earth the accuse would call for help...Because if given a choice Jack would not mind burying the accuse alive...(but why?you will have to read the book to find out about that)...And even after knowing that why on earth the accuse calls Jack to help him out of this holy mess?......There is every possible evidence against the accuse but he still denies to have done the offence...On top of that he gets beaten up so badly by the other prisoners on a small quarrel that he goes into the coma...And now no doctor can treat him , he may get up after a year or a month or a day or never ever...but this not the end but just a beginning...

I would like to add a few things about a character called Jack Reacher. He is the strongest man in literature as quoated by Lee Child himself (rather in a javelin manner) in one of his interviews but i personally feel that he is indeed the strongest man in literature...and the most admirable man in the literature...I would like to add one e.g of his uniqueness...He is a drifter...Has no permanent house, no ID proof just a toothbrush with him and a shirt and a pair of trousers that he keeps changing may be after 3 or 4 days of ues...Whenever he purchases a new shirt and a pair of trousers , he just dumps the old once , puts on the new once in the shop itself for next 3 to 4 days...He is a man with a lot of brains and most importantly he knows it and he uses it very effectively to his advantage...
