About Arun Shourie

Arun Shourie is an Indian journalist, writer and politician. A former economist with the World Bank, Shourie served as a consultant to the Planning Commission of India, editor of the Indian Express and The Times of India and a minister in the government of India.

A graduate of St. Stephen’s College in Delhi, Dr. Shourie obtained his PhD in Economics from Syracuse University in the United States.
