Description

Summary of the Book

The Pakistani army, mangled by the Abbottabad raid, resolves to plan and execute a mission that will get the Pakistani public opinion decisively behind them. Major Shezad Khan, a much commended officer from the Pakistani army’s best Special Service Group, ventures out to attack a strategically selected place in India. His comrades-in-arms are five vicious Lashkar-e-Taiba militants. Though Khan manages to come to India through Kashmir, there is one man who has been assigned the task of stopping them. RAW’s Senior Field Agent, Sanjay Khanna, teams up with Military Intelligence and NSG to prevent the violence. Will he be successful in stopping the attack?

Fast paced thriller

The book has an interesting storyline and a fast pace. The scenario is fairly plausible.
The book feels very , for lack of a better word, 'Frederick Forsythish'.
The author seems to have very good knowledge of the Indian Army and Special forces.
To summarize , I have read a lot of indian fiction in the thriller genre and I would rate this fairly close to the top, if not the top.

Good read

Well written. The flow is good barring few spelling mistakes (parameter instead of Perimeter across the book) & having a major in BSF. The book feels bit exaggerated but doesn't sound un-natural. A reader will feel like seeing an intense action infront of his/her eyes & also with all the realistic names, events & bit of history, it doesn't feel like a novel.

Superb Gripping Story... Should be made into a film...

I had already developed a keen interest for the book, when I had read the reviews from other readers. Still, I was skeptical as this was coming from a 1st time author. But I was really awed by the tight gripping story-line, never losing its steam.
I highly recommend it for action buffs, and would suggest some producer to buy this script for an awesome action movie.

Fast & Gripping

As I was reading the book, the news of Karachi airport terrorist attack was playing on my TV. South Asia is such a fertile ground for Frederick Forsyth type novels. However only a few books have been published in this genre. This book according to me is the best effort so far. I love the instance about the crown prince of india. This book is an entertaining one. Well written.

Nice story - Intensive research. Though not unputdownable but a good read

Recently got this book in hand. The story talks about a planned terrorist attack. The author has really researched well on Military affairs and their organization. I however at times found it too much to digest. The story really grips you in the 2nd half the book and you remain glued to this book.

Though not unputdownable, but definitely a good read.

Sounds like a real event

This book gives you a close and true to the maximum picture of today’s scenario with respect to the Indo-pak activities.Organisations mentioned in this book is real and only the events are fictitious. While reading the book you would feel like these activities actually happened or have full potential of happening anytime. Though it’s a fiction but gives thrilling experience of reality. Operation foxhunt belongs to an altogether different level. .. Hats off to the author for resurfacing the Indian thriller genre with such a bang. The breathtaking pace with which the novel follows will definitely leave you asking for more.

Fun Read

If you have a lazy weekend or a travel, this book is good company. Based on the present indo pak conflict, it takes the reader through a smooth plot and action. A page turner and fun.Lots of info on military tactics and weaponary, I picked my copy at airport . Paid Rs140 for it. Wish i ahd bought here . Thats the only regret :-)
