Educational and vocational guidance has acquired very important place in the scheme of education. While as Counselling is closely related to educational and vocational guidance, the process of guidance is continuous Process. It requires trained teachers in educational and vocational guidance. The State as well as the Central Governments in India are making monetary provisions for the introduction and success of the guidance programmes in Colleges.
