Orpat Iron-717 Cc Iron

Hi All,

This product from Orpat is really good with the below pros and cons.

Pros:
1. Ceramic Sole Plate (heart for any iron box) is used and it's really very good on which normally people suggest.
2. Gets heated up instantly as indicated (1400W) and will be back to normal state in less time.
3. Huge Tank (350 ml) which helps in not filling up the tank after ironing 4-5 trousers :)
4. Swivel cord is really good and the size is pretty enough -- need not have to do the task near switch board.
5. Steam and Burst iron which comes for very less price.
6. Colour and make feel to do iron.

Cons:
1. Small droplets of water falling down during iron.

Had ordered this product and got a out of stock product ! - however,when informed to flipkart,it was immediately replace with a bran new one.

As said by one of the reviewer,guys just don't go with brand name for all products.
Orpat really gives all the features for less price.

I suggest to purchase this one who are really looking for Iron and whose budget is < 1k.

I originally planned on buying one of the more expensive Philips steam irons until I read the reviews of Orpat. This is a value for money appliance that gives you satisfaction.

I ordered for this product last month and have been using it for nearly as long now. The steam function is pretty useful and you might not want to switch to dry ironing again. It does have various settings for the different fabric types as well as an option to turn off the steam utility and use the dry iron feature.

However the steam utility is the best feature of this iron and I'd recommend you don't do without it. There's also a "steam blow" button that allows you to release a short burst of steam on your clothes; you can also use the spray function to spray water on your clothes before you iron.

Finally Flipkart was prompt in its delivery and I can certify that I am a satisfied customer with this product. All that remains to be seen is how long it lasts.

I have ordered this product last week, received it in 2 days, thanks to flipkart's amazing service.

Regd product: Its a very very nice iron with good built quality, got every feature of a top range iron box. Its got Ceramic sole-plate which is found in best irons,works well on all type of clothes. swivel cord- another convenient feature. Heats in seconds since its 1400 Watts, making your ironing task shorter. And at last but not least point is its pricing, 711/- !! that's really amazing.

I strongly recommend this product for all those who want real usefulness than just brand name.

The Iron is very good, the looks and build quality is excellent and has ceramic soleplate which give very smooth Ironing.

heats up very quickly and I ironed my cotton cloths without putting much pressure.

go for it!

on the hindsight considering the Indian economy is going weak I would advise people to go for quality products made by Indian manufacturers instead of going for foreign ones .

Although using the dry iron works fine but when I try to use the steam feature, there are at times leakage of water from the soleplate. As mentioned in the description that the soleplate is ceramic but it still sticks to the cloth at high temperature occasionally. The iron is not at all worthy enough to buy, better go for a Philips one or some other more reputable company. Spend a few extra bucks on some other product, you wont regret your decision like I have to after buying this iron.
