Orpat Kitchen Cool Mixer Grinder

I got this product in 6 working days. Initially I got damaged jar, flipkart people replaced it in 2 working days. So service from the flipkart side is good. I am using it from 1 month.
If we see about grinder positive things are
* it occupies less place
* look is good.
* less price
Now con's are
* Quality of jars i.e Plastic, steel is poor
* U can make chutneys with some patience, but U cannot make a powder of rice or dal or red-chillies, blades are horrible. (They r permanently fixed to jar, so u even cannot change them)
* Sound is little high, over load tripping will suck u in the preparation of idly, dosa mix.
I agree Price is low, so one will expect less quality of jars and more sound. But this product lacks quality in its major function, grinding , no one will expect. I am thinking to change it. I've seen Crompton greeve in my friend home, serving better than this with slight variation in price.

I am using it for past some months. I have not faced any issue with the product. The blades are so sharp that i mistakenly got hurt my finger while taking the grinded stuff out. Then after I use the plastic knife given. The Mixee has not got auto-shut off due to over load. when the load is high, the sound of grinding changes, and i will deduct some load. The motor sound is normal without jar, But more with jar (no matter load is less or normal). And Some diffuculty i face is while placing the jars. The jars are fitting so tight on the Mixee, and I take care while placing and removing jar after grinding. The Mixee is Small and beautiful. And I enjoy making Food with this Mixee's help. Still what required in question for Mixee. I felt other Company products costly because they may be costly since i see advertisements in TV. This Mixee is a non advertised gem. I got it at good discount rate too. Still Who are about to get..! Get this worthy one.

I bought one from here. While opening the product it may not look that great. By the way once we begin to use it, we will fall in love with it. It is cool. BUT

1. There are some rubber vacuum stands under it. It will start coming out from your first use onwards. And it is not easily to put it back and it won't last if we put it back.
2. The quality of jars was not that great in look initially and we will realize it really is by using it for a while. I have less than normal use with the product. MY BLADE of main jar is broken within less than a month.
3. Sound is comparatively little high.

Flipkart rocks again with the service, Moreover Orpat surprises with the product at this price , especially red color strong motor, grinds properly with less of noice. 10 points for the product and better for flipkart.

I purchased this mixer grinder in May 2012.
We faced problems with it ,saw smoke coming out of the mixer base- returned the product immediately. Flipkart did a wonderful job of replacing the faulty mixer immediately.

But,bad luck - we realized that this mixer is not capable of grinding rice batter,even for a small qty - it stops working as soon as we start grinding the rice batter(dosa batter).
(So, we decided to opt for readymade batter and relieve our mixie of this job)...
The mixie is so loud - enough to wake up the neighbourhood....
Well, in a span of 2-3 months we see leakage of the jar, so even making a fruit juice has become a pain...
For me, this was a waste for money.
