Starting with a caution - it is meant only for heating water, so DO NOT use it for boiling milk!

Now the review...With that review title, I would rate this product as average.

Main drawback, extremely short wire. Intention is to keep the kettle in one place and use it there. But a home is no hotel room, with a fixed...read, restricted, place for a kettle. With a wire that short, chances of accidents are more. And to add to it, the body material quality is also quite average.

Other than that, it is in use so far.

Very good product . . . no problems so far . . but it took them a little more time to deliver though . . . as their office is close to where i stay . . so they were asking me to come and pick it. . finally they agreed to deliver to my house . .

but all in all good deal . . . . . . . . . .

I wanted the product by satuday as we were heading to Terdal a remote place in North Karnataka. I was just completely impressed by the service by Flipkart.

I liked the product too. I had used this product already and knew abt it...

I got the product delivered today. Immediately after receiving the product, I tested it. It is working great. Water got heated up within no time. Totally worth it. People who want to just heat the water or make tea and coffee, can go for it.

I purchased this Orpat Kettle through Flipkart and am satisfied with the product. The product from Orpat is Good in terms of usage as well as in terms of its Pricing. Also it consumes only 850 Watts compared to others in the same category which needs 1000 Watts.
The delivery from flipkart was swift as promised. Prompt delivery service is the main feature of Flipkart.

i ordered this product through flpikart and needless to say the delivery was prompt.. now regarding this product.
1) the mouth of the kettle is very narrow, thereby making it difficult to clean by hand.
2) due to some reason the plastic inside the kettle has turned brown, and does not regain its white colour even after vigorously cleaning it with a brush. (im not sure if it is due to hard water)

..the only advantage of the kettle is that the heating element is concealed.

Its a cute kettle, boils quickly and is nicely designed for handling. HOWEVER, as one of the reviewers had stated before - it smells of plastic. This is really unacceptable to me.

So yes, if you're ok with the smell of plastic in your tea/ soup / hot water, then this is a good kettle for you.

This kettle is good if are using it to make tea/coffee. I tried making maggie once, and because of its narrow lid spent more time cleaning it than actually making maggie...all in one..it works great and a good buy in such a price

I have been using this product since more than a month. And as you can see, I have rated this product 2 out of 5 stars - depending on my satisfaction level. Basically, I just had one need that led me to but this - hot water for beverages (Horlicks and dip tea/coffee). But I have used it to boil eggs and milk too some of the times.

Pros:
I basically does what it's suppose to do - to heat water/milk. And it does it well. It boils water pretty quickly, and has automatic off that lets you to just plug as come back without any concern (except while boiling milk that requires constant supervision as even 1/2 liter milk needs more space that this 1 liter space kettle has to offer). The cordless base is just as convenient to carry hot liquid to other places without wires dangling from it. And the kettle does look good too!

Cons:
But this kettle leave something more to desired. As mentioned by many others, it comes with just with a meter of wire that will be insufficient in most of the situations. It's a hell lot of a job to clean this kettle as many people will find that it's a very tough job to get your hand inside the kettle to clean it. Bristles-on-wire cleaner don't clean it enough.
I had another incident with this kettle too. We had some problem with the water pipes which resulted in some small sand particles in our tap water. Accidentally I tried to clean my kettle in that water. It resulted in entrapment of small sand particles at the rim of the base of the kettle. Since I couldn't get my hand inside, those particles remained there after repeated washing by clean water. The max I could do was to sterilize the inside of kettle by boiling water 5-6 times.

I bought this from Flipkart for Rs 730. It was a prompt delivery within 3 days.

Cattle has a fast boiler system...fit for making maggi and boiling water ....only one disadvantage is its small mouth due to which uneasy to wash.....smell of plastic will come for initial few days...but then it will go ......those who are frequent maker of maggi and coffee should go for it.....07
