Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 Point & Shoot Camera  (Black)

I bought this camera after reading lot of reviews of various mega zoom cameras including hx100v and sx40. I had a dilemma whether to go for hx100v or fz150, but went with fz150 and very happy with that.

Pros:
1. very good image quality for a point & shoot ( check dpreview studio shot comparison tool for comparing various cameras )
2. very good video quality
3. nice build
4. good manual controls
5. RAW format
6. fast response

Cons:
1. a little pricey.

Got this camera from flipkart 1 month ago. Iam really in love with this cam. The pictures are of superb quality. It gives you a lot of options to play with. This camera is the 'best superzoom model' i have ever used. Though it falls behind in the zoom capability compared to that of the canon SX40 HS or the recently launched Nikon P510, from my experience, 24X zoom and an additional 32X iZoom which the fz150 offered is more than sufficient. Bought this item last week and really liked its build quality. If you go on tours regularly, you should buy this camera, since it is made for travelling people who do not have to carry multiple lenses for every shots like in DSLR and cannot compromise on just a compact camera.
