Panasonic RP-HJE180E-K Headphone

I had Sony MDR-EX50LP in-ear phones which broke down recently. I was looking for a spec-spec match of that earphone(and not deciding to buy Sony again, as they refused to replace it) and found this ear-phones matching. When I started using it, I found that Sony sound quality was far superior.

pros:
a) they claim to provide 1 year warranty on the box
b) not expensive considering its specifications
c) unique ear-plug design

cons:
a) sound reproduction is mediocre or below. bass is not good at all although the sensitivity level is 6-25KHz

As usual, flip-kart is doing good job in delivering.

I had limited budget. Had to look for a decent earphone within Rs.800. Searched a lot. Got a lot of suggestions too. But then I decided for Panasonic.

I had lost my Samsung headphone. I was impressed and happy with the sound quality of my Samsung headphone, that came with the Samsung cell phone. And I wanted an earphone that could match Samsung within a limited budget. I had used Sony and Sennheiser earphones. Sony is good but then you have to shed a few extra bucks. And Sennheiser's output, for it's price is ordinary. Atleast the model which I had tested. I am told that the higher priced models are very good.

While searching, I came across this Panasonic earphone. I had never used a Panasonic headphone/earphone before and therefore, I was a bit skeptical about going for it. But when I observed the specification, it impressed me a lot. I found that in this price range, it is the only earphone, which has maximum input power of 200mW with 10mm driver units and that too with Neodymium magnet. I don't think any other earphone beats that.

But, still it had to do deliver what it said. And it does to every specification of it!

Conclusion
1. Bass is very good and very much controlled. It doesn't hurt your ears.
2. The most comfortable earphone I have used till date. It has a brilliant ergonomic fit. Never hurts your ears, with buds coming in three fits. For maximum bass use the large bud.
3. Not an expert in sound, but I think the highs and lows are good. The only thing that I wished that I had a bit more treble. But then it has a very well balanced, controlled output, which makes it a treat to the ear
4. Your ears will never get tired of using it. You can easily have prolonged usage with this earphone.

For me, it's worth a buy.

Ordered these a few days back. Work perfectly on my iPod and Galaxy Ace! I have no complaints about the bass. Totally worth it. Go for it if you're looking for a great pair of affordable earphones. Most importantly, Panasonic tops every other company in terms of durability. :)

Guys dont buy earphones from Panasonic... I just bought this and there is no bass effect. I tried on my laptop, iPad, my mp3 player but still i didnt get the real effect which i used to get on my creative in-ear phones (that i have lost).
