Parker Vector Matte Black CT Fountain Pen

Got this pen yesterday. Like the delivery days say, had to wait 9 days :(

Parker pen.. do you need a review for this actually? I chose this pen over the other lesser priced parker pen, is the reason being the NIB. Its moulded in a crafty way to bring out the best ways of your handwriting.

PS: Flipkart, please start including Parker Inks too :) Would be of great help.

I am an old user of this product. I bought this pen in 1998, and have been using it since. Thirteen years, and the nib hasn't worn down a bit! It's a brilliant pen, and in my opinion one of the best in its price range.

It can write on any paper (corrugated cardboard), and the nib is remarkably durable, which is one of the capital points in its favour. However, the durability does not conflict with the smoothness of lines. The cartridge holds a lot of ink, and therefore makes it suitable for long periods of writing.

However, do not use Camlin Permanent Black Ink with this pen, as the cleaner (or solvent) in this ink tends to corrode the nib over time. If you can, choose Chelpark inks. But the best ink would definitely be Parker Quink.

For the fountain pen lovers: If you want a truly heavenly experience, fill up the pen with Lamy ink, and write on Bilt notepaper.

On the whole, I am a very great lover of this pen, and I highly recommend it. It's a pen worth having, be you a student, or a professional.

this pen when compared to parker beta fountain pen have the same nib quality but has disadvantage over beta pen that it has poor ,thin and slippery steel grip and heavy weight so more hard to write.

-comes with filling mechanism however compatible to separately purchased parker ink refills.
-has smooth writing and easy flow.
-nib is very prone to fail if you drop it or abuse it anyway however separate nib can be purchased in the form of whole lower nib and grip assembly from local retailer.

con-even the fine nib fails to give a fine writing experience and has a thick writing line.

conclusion:-if you write few lines a day and will use it for less work like signatures etc then it will help you more than parker beta given that you dont miss better writing experience of beta and dont mind slightly thick writing from even fine nib.(parker beta too has thick writing as they both uses same nib).

-so if you want to write extra fine ,either go for different brand or my suggestion is cheap chinese pen hero:-241 which looks cheap but has excellent fine writing and is however not avilable on flipkart.

I really wanted a fountain pen that will look slim and great and should not be light, must be heavy enough to be stable and rigid ! But unfortunately a priory I din't know about any exact brand ! Of-course Perker is great but which model ? Finally this one attracted me after hours of searching here and there ! The frosty black color attracted and looked heavy and strong ! When I got the pen at hand I was delighted to see that its heavy enough and doesn't shine odd ! The frosty black color and slim body, so comfortable to handle ! It has been more than a week, it writes so smooth, the ink flow is just great ! I am now sure that if it doesn't break due to unusual accident then I am going to keep this as my favorite pen throughout my life and if it breaks then definitely going to by one more, exactly the same.

In one word, its just brilliant pen. I love it.

I am Using it from 2005 and its still like new one.
I use it Everyday and its a Endless Ecperience for me to write with pen. And I must say About the build quality, It's Just a Miracle for me. When I Write with it in my Exams, It gives me a Fast Start Beautiful Handwriting And a early End...
