Gautam Sengupta is Director of Archaeology and Museums, Government of West Bengal and Member-Secretary, Centre for Archaeological Studies and Training, Eastern India, Kolkata. He has written extensively on art history and historical archaeology of Eastern and North-eastern India.
Suchira Roychoudhury is a Fellow at the Centre for Archaeological Studies and Training Eastern India. She is also a Guest Lecturer in the Departemnt of Archaeology, University of Calcutta. Her interests include settlement archaeology, and archaeological theory.
