A Peace At Last

Stanley Zbiknowski, an accountant in Toledo, Ohio, isnt going anywhere. Socially and professionally, his life is a mess. His boss wants the use of Stanleys apartment once a week to meet a lady friend, and threatens to make things difficult if he doesnt agree. Meanwhile, Stanley worries about his mother, who lives in a changing neighborhood with his younger brother. Stanley also has trouble with another brother, an alcoholic who has been leaching money from their mother. Add to that the fact his ex-lady friend wants to get back with him, while his neighbor, a young wench of nineteen, enjoys teasing him. Stanleys got all the trouble he can handle His loneliness eats away at him. He really doesnt care until he meets Lorraine Cann, a witty and gifted schoolteacher who tries to change his destiny. Stanley starts to fight back, with Lorraines support. Will he find a peace at last?
