Good one

First off, Thanks for the fantabulous discounts. Flipkart's discount surpass all others.
NExt coming to the delivery on flipkart. Maintaining timelines is something we must learn from flipkart. Received the book within 2 days of booking it. The packaging was pretty good.

As for the content of the book. It was moderate. Not one of the best but definitely worth a read .

A fine last time preparation.

After attending sessions for CAT, in the last 100 days, I preferred this book for a quick brush-up of concepts.
So far, I am content.
I would also say that this is a nice book for self preparation, if you are quite a player since school. Otherwise, either attend classes or go for some other books and techniques.

This books contains so many silly errors in it. I got irritated by the repeated mistakes here and there. A simple spelling of "television" was written as "televisition". I would like flipkart.com to please notify the author about these printing mistakes. I couldn't read the full book as I lost my patience understanding the silly mistakes in it.

A straight No if u want this for Logical Reasoning

I was searching for different books on logical reasoning and couldn't find much. The only option which looked suitable to me was this one (though it has verbal section as well). I also needed a book to practice DI. So I ordered both the books, Pearson Guide for QA and Pearson guide for VA and LR.
I started the QA book for DI and though there are lot of printing errors, I was not much disappointed as I read somewhere that all DI books have a lot of printing mistake.

this has a very few problems for practice .. and a lot of blank pages are included in the book , just to make it bulkier .. its expensive and definitely not worth the money.. .. i would not recommend this book to anyone... there are many better books at a cheaper rate ..but if price is not the constrain , u can buy it..

nice book to practice RC but dont follow logical reasoning from this book...

When i started doing reading comprehension from this book, everyday i came across many a new words which helped my vocab and again the RCs are quite up to the mark for preparation of cat. But the explanation to the answers are not present which is one lacuna i found.

Again this book is not for practicing jumbled sentences and error correction section.

This book is not for logical reasoning preparation at all...without explanation one will face many a problem with this section.

Excellent Book

This book is just fabulous to say the least. Definitely a book every CAT/XAT aspirant must possess. But as a word of caution this is not a book for those who are starting their preparation. Build your foundation with either of the books by Arun Sharma or Sarvesh K Verma. Build your concepts with them and then turn your focus on this one for pure problem solving. This book will surely give an extra edge to your MBA preparations.
