Although the author is well studied in her subject. But at some places specially where vastu says about auspicious and unfortunate things about householders, she failed to connect our today's understanding with vastu shastra's saying. At some places she said vastu cannot bring endless happiness and all, and at another place she connects central axis of the house to health of the occupants and doors to the fortunes and tragedies of a family without explaining how.

This is an excellent piece of work by Architect Sashikala Ananth. I myself is an Architect (Rajat Kapoor) with a strong belief in scientific foundations of Vastu Shastra which in today's time is largely seen either through the lens of mystic believes or a very narrow intent of personal greed.
