The Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth 1st Edition (Paperback) Price: Rs.259

HONESTLY, BLOWING UP ANOTHER SCHOOL WAS THE LAST THING I WANTED TO DO.

As the son of a Greek god, I've had my share of near-death disaster.  This summer, I didn't choose to battle the cheerleading squad, but when two hissing she-devils with fangs are heading straight for you, what's a half-blood meant to do?

That was just the beginning.  This is the one where my arch-enemy, Luke, is looking for a way to invade our camp via an ancient labyrinth.  If he succeeds, thousands of bloodthirsty monsters will attack.  So it's goodbye sunshine, hello darkness as four of us descend into the terrifying underground and beyond . . .

PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS: THE 4TH EDITION

What I Think: Awesome
book. I have read this
series twice now, and This
was my faovorite book of
the series. I would
recomend reading this to younger siblings if they are
the kind of kids who are
always interested in what
you are interested in.
Summary: Percy Jackson is
a demigod, or half-human, half-god.his father is The
Sea god, Poseidon. His
friend, Annabeth, has
recieved a quest to go to
the Labyrinth. She must
find Deadelus and convince him to help her to help to
save the camp. If you are
going to read this book,
read the other ones in the
series first. Also, there was
alot of killing monsters and a few deaths, so it is a bit
violent. I think that if you
are going to let an older
kid read this book, that's
ok. But if you are thinking
of letting a smaller kid read it, you should know that
they might not really
understand it because in
one part, Annabeth is
being REALLY friendly to a
kid (whose name I can not remember), and Percy gets
kind of jealous. Have fun
reading!!!

Quest through Adriadne’s thread of logic

Publisher Puffin Books
ISBN 978-0-141-32127-1
The Labyrinth the 4th myth to be visited by Rick Riordon, here , the labyrinth created Daedalus or the cunning one, is tied to his life. Annabeth is granted the quest to find him. Daedalus is the demigod son of Athena here.
Ariadne and string or the thread of logic helped the Greek Hero Theseus to get out of the Labyrinth. We have the cleared eyed mortal Rachel Dare doing so.
The book also touches on the myth of Calypso.
Pan the god of the wild is dying. With the nature withering us.
To me the highlight of the book was in passage where Pan asks the heroes to awaken the love for wild within them.
The author has till maintained to keep the tempo and magic. Though there are tracts where the monsters and their lineage becomes a bit too combersome to manage.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Rick Riordan is an award-winning mystery writer. He has worked as middle-school teacher for 15yrs. He is now a full-time author and lives in San Antonio with his family. The Lost Heroes of Olympus, The Kane Chronicles are the other series from this writer.

Can't forget this one

Amazing book. The author keeps you attached till the last page. When got hold of the book I didn't want to leave it. it's so awesome!!!! This book had it's own surprises. With Luke becoming Kronos in the end and the inventions of the genius Daedalus. I was awestruck. One thing I don't like about these books is the chapter names. The names are pretty weird and even you would agree with me. RR has done perfect job of blending myth with modernity. Even calypso's story was nice. The best part for me was definitely Luke becoming Kronos. That was well narrated as well.

Percy Jackson Roxx
And believe me you don't want to miss this one. Cause if you miss it then last Olympian would seem incomplete. And after finishing this book definitely order the last Olympian it's even better.

Have a happy reading

A good novel

Rick Riordan has kept plenty of surprises for reader in this novel. Luke, with Kronos inside, is trying to get into the Labyrinth to invade Camp Half-Blood. How Percy and his friends try to stop it from the crux of the story. Well planned and written, this novel will keep you guessing till the end. At the end, you will surely taken by surprise.
