Meant for teens but fun reading for mature readers as well.

The author unravels the myths of Ancient Greek and Roman gods in a casual and fun way.

No one worships these gods anymore. So no one will be offended by the casual way it's narrated.

What's most important is the fun and adventure in these stories.... Captivating.

Chiron, Percy, Annabeth, Dionysus are all good. Especially D. D never fails to brighten my day with his wit.

Guys, before I read this, I always thought atlas is a great dude and is singlehandedly taking the monumental responsibility of carrying the weight of the world. Looks like the guy atlas was a crook and was cursed to have that weight. Knew this only after I read this book.

So that's why you should read these books. Ancient Greek is symbolised everywhere and we do assume things wrongly when we are not knowledgable of all the truth.

Well, lastly what would be great is to have these book with large pictures of centaurs, demigods, Greek gods, their roman forms, Pegasus, etc. that would enable us to narrate these beautiful books to children and also for our own collection. But for teens and adults these books are best reads and highly recommended.

Very nice books. Definite buy. Worth spending money.

It cant get any better than this-Greek Gods in Western Civilization! Loved reading this series. Especially because of the way it is written. I love reading about Greek mythology and to have it in the form a story with a modern day twist just made it even better. The best part about the book was the cynical language used to describe the Greek Gods. The way Ares was described in modern day with a harley bike and Zeus daughter, thalia as a punk made it really fun to read. But I started enjoying the book a lot from the third one in the series-The Titans Curse!! And my favourite of all was the The last hero because Percy and Annabeth get together !! Now the series again continues with The Heroes Of Olympus. I am reading the son of neptune and awaiting the release of mark of athena eagerly. it just seriously cant get any better than this. thoroughly enjoyed reading Percy Jackson Series!
