He has been through many adventures through these books and has magical powers, items and companions. He has many water induced abilities since he is the son of Poseidon.
About the Author
Rick Riordan is an American author who is best known for writing Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. He graduated from the University of Texas, and taught English and Social Studies at the Presidio High School in San Francisco.

the books are a very good reading and totally entertaining. but I would like to suggest a little modification to the product description of the box set which does not include the first book of the series "percy Jackson and the lightning thief".
I, before buying the box set , was in a bit confusion but then I saw the image of the boxset on which the picture of percy holding the lightning (the first book - blue colour) was there. I ordered the book and it was there indeed.

Good Reading experience
I have finished reading the whole series. Good reading experience.
I watched the movies Lightning thief and Sea of monsters. But the reading is the best experience Since the movies misses some best parts out of the story.
