Product Description

SteamGlide Soleplate

This steam iron comes with the Philips SteamGlide soleplate which is best known for its seamless glide and scratch-resistant properties. It smoothens out hard creases without much effort, and can also be cleaned easily later.

Optimal Design

The design allows you to move the iron across the garment easily to remove any kind of wrinkles.

Lightweight Body

This iron has a lightweight body so it's easy on your wrists. You can easily lift it and place it back on the heel rest as it weighs only 1.6 kg.

Quick Heat-up

This appliance consumes up to 2400 watts and heats up really fast.

Auto Off Feature

Once your ironing is done, its safety auto off feature turns off the appliance automatically after five minutes, thus saving energy and preventing accidents.

Steam Boost Feature

Apart from the continuous steam output of around 45 g/min, this iron also comes with a steam boost feature where the appliance releases up to 200 g of steam at a time. This helps in removing even the toughest creases from your clothes.

Easy Filling

The iron also features a filling door in the front with a sideways-opening door to prevent spills. It allows you to fill the water easily.

I ordered this at 18:00 Hrs one fine Saturday and received next day Sunday before 12 when i opted for a 1 day delivery.
Pros: It is a beast and works perfectly well on any fabric, steam is robust and goes to every part of the fabric.The front plate is designed in such a way that it actually helps to press between buttons.
I'm super satisfied.Even more so when I saw this piece selling at a very big branded showroom at Rs 6700. Pure cotton and linen shirts are now a breeze to ...

it requires a 15AMP socket

This iron is good. its a heavy duty iron, easy to iron the clothes, good product, automatic switch off is a good feature

However it requires a 15amp socket to plug in. If you have a 5ams plug point you may have to do the rewiring to use this Iron

Great product

I am writing this review after 6 years of extensive use. This is the best product for steam iron category from the brand PHILIPS. The machine worked extensively well in spite of making repeated rough uses, it has a high wattage and it is advisable that one must use at least 4 mm wire and 16 mm socket but no complaint on its performance
