Philips DVP3336/94 DVD Player

Hi,

I ordered this product on 06/10 and it came to me on 11/10 within 5-6 days as mentioned on site, Looks are very good the player is having in built FM, it has composite video port as well as normal video out it also has internal speakers but the sound is not big as its a small one. Its not having HDMI port but I dont want one as my television doesn't have it.USB playing is bit slow and it's not able to play larg pictures and high bit-rate audio, otherwise sound picture quality is very good to listen and plays DVDs very well yet to explore all the features but as brand suggest its value for mony, I recommend it.

I purchased this product last year from Flipart's sister concern (LetsBuy.com). Product was deliverd at home in 3 days with excelent packing. I was very happy with Letsbuy services.
Pros :
Product is good,
Amplifier is good,
USB playback,
FM radio,
Divx play,
All at a very attractive price

Cons:
No hdmi,
slow in dvd reading (all players take this time),
bad after sales service.

It got some issue in its power supply circuit in the month of June. I logged complaint at philips service center 3 times after interval of 1 month each time but everytime they closed complaint without any comment. Even they never tried to call me to ask about problem in product. I escalated the issue to senior person but even then i got no call from service centre. Finally i got it repaired at market for nominal charges (80Rs).
Now few days back I got a call from philips customer care, he said you product is not in warranty so you have to pay for repairing charges. I was shocked why he called me after 3 months of my last complaint. And I do have bill which states it has 1 Year warranty but he says product is not in warranty.
I shouted him and put down phone. I will never buy philips again..

I will go for Sony, LG... any but not philips..

Well I have no issues with flipkart/letsbuy because they do their best in delivering product.

but I think sometimes many companies do not provide good after sales service which is frustating.
LG is best for after sales service.

Flipkart - I would recommend you to help your customers for after sales service if they are getting issues as mine. I know you have a very good 30 days replacemwnt warranty but please help to people who purchased from you and are victims of bad after sales service (under warranty) like me. :)

Hi, This is Baskaran from Chennai-59. I have been using this player for the past 7 months. No issues. Easy to handle.
USB supports up to 16 GB, which i had tried. But, by default it plays mp3, when we plug in. Response time when we plugin USB, is 10 sec. skip selection, like nest page selection is missing.
video resolution supports up to 710 pixels. No probs, because most of the latest movies while we download from WEB, will match this format. But it does not support .mkv format. PHILIPS need to improve Graphics and detailed information about the file, while it plays. Value for money.

I have bought this product and I feel that it is real value for money. The internal speaker is good for FM radio, but not with cd or usb playback. Still it is ok for the compactly designed, value for money product.

Amazing delivery by flipkart this time. Last time my delivery had got delayed due to many issue. But this time delivery was within 2 days. Truly amazing...

I havn't tried all file format's yet. however, till now what ever DVD's i have, all played without any issues. I heard frm other reviews that this player will support max 8gb pen drive. I havn't check this yet.
