I dont know??????
Bought on 5-12-12, from flipkart, package was badly damaged from all sides. courier was FSD.accepted only because it was from flipkart.
PROS: 1. Plays my collection of movies.
2. Plays my audio prerecorded CD's.
3. Plays my recorded audio DVD's.
4. Audio quality and video quality is good.
5. recognised my pen drive and displayed photos and songs accurately.
CONS: 1. Does not show the audio track no. or name it is playing( both shocking and dissapointing). what is the display for?I have 12 year old philips audio systems which shows the track no, and name.Dont understand philip's logic?what is the use of spending Rs 600 more for the display, would have rather bought dvp 3608.same features, no display Rs 600 cheaper.

3. philips customer care executive says this cannot be connected to a home theatre system whereas their description on their websirte clearly states that it can be connected to a tv or hts??
4. Philips system are well known to fail suddenly without warning. this is my third philips cd/dvd system and the previous two suddenly refused to read media one fine day.
still early days ,i will write another review maybe after a few days.

Excellant Product
This DVD player is very good and I can say it is an excellant one. Particularly for the old model CRT TVs, it is a very good product. The sound and picture quality is very good. It's runing is very smooth and completely noiseless. It will also play old and partly damaged DVDs. It's reading capacity is good, I have even run DL DVD movies also on the system. USB port facility is also very convenient. Time display in from of the DVD player is quite good. The price tag of Flipkart is very attractive.
Last but not the leaast, the service and packing of Flipkart is excellant. I got the product through Flipkart Direct Delivery System. I appreaciate the same.

Good one for budget.
I purchase this on this Diwali. Its really a cool DVD Player for this price range. I appreciate Flipkart for so consumer-friendly. They deliver the product within 4days.
1. Its easy to operate. No rocket science & complicated functions.
2. DVDs are working well. As it has Pro Reader, it'll read any DVD.
3. Philips customer care service is good as I heard from many. Flipkart sends you all service center addresses near your city along with this product.

5. All those like me, who need a basic DVD Player. This Is The One you should go with.
