Safety and Power
The maximum power consumption of Philips GC1010 is 1200 W. The electrical energy required by this steam iron is 220 V. There is a special temperature-ready light in this Philips iron that indicates the thermostatic controls. This light automatically goes off when the required temperature for iron is reached and is ready to use.Note: To avoid leakage of water through the steam vents, please fill the water tank, switch off the steam and plug in. Philips GC1010
I am satisfied with the delivery time and Flipkart Service, but Philips GC1010 Iron is not a safe bet. The previous picture was with a sprayer and also in the features of this product,there was a mention about sprayer, only when I got the product, I got to know that it has no sprayer (mea culpa). Even the steaming function is not that good and not easy to handle. If you want a good iron, go for something else from Flipkart.

Average Product
I am using this product since six years. Its an average product.
=> It heats up quickly. Temperature control and thermostat works good.
=> Steam function not very good. Some times it wet clothes by throwing water drops instead of Steam.
=> Now after six years of use, it has develped some problem like sometime it does not reheat after cutoff. But its ok as per the age of product.

1. Amazingly fast heating coil, takes only 70-80 Seconds to heat up.
2. Nice and fluent steam flow out of sole plate.
3. Beautiful cable with great Length and Flexibility
4. Really very smooth and large surface to iron all kinds of clothes.
